Globeway is a travel app for iPhone that pairs hand-written guides to every country, region and city in the world with an AI trip planner, a travel companion for the road, and a personal atlas of everywhere you have been.

Most travel apps are a search box over someone else’s reviews. Globeway is written: 238 countries and territories, 655 regions and nearly 3,000 cities, each with its own page on what the place is like, when to go, what it costs and how to get around, plus more than 1,300 stories on the history, food, daily life and customs behind them, all fact-checked and free to read. When you are ready to go, the AI Planner turns a few answers into a day-by-day itinerary you can reshape, and the Travel Companion carries it with you, offline, with the weather and what is next. Afterwards, your Atlas marks the countries you have explored and Memories keeps the photos, notes and a slideshow of the route. Explorers can also publish journals and answer each other’s questions. There is no advertising, and nothing you plan or keep is shared.

Globeway was built over 2026 by one founder in Michigan who wanted the travel app he could not find: one that reads like a good guidebook, plans like a patient friend, and remembers the trip afterwards. Every destination page and story was written and checked for the app, not scraped. Interviews are welcome by email.
